Relief Valves 5 – 20 ksi
New VAAH relief valve, with adjustable set value, sized for pressures up to 20,000 psi.
Relief valves are proportional valves, they gradually open as inlet pressure increases. They are used for protection against overpressures in hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
The new ABAC’s VAAH is available in 2 pressure ranges: 5,000 to 15,000 psi and 15,000 to 20,000 psi. It has a replaceable metal-plastic seal.
Characteristics:
• Precision of set and bounded reclosing
• External setpoint adjustment. No dismount needed.
• Robust design, entirely in stainless steel.
• Spring completely isolated from fluid
• NPT and AU connections (includes collar and gland).
• Relief connection of 1/2 “NPT
• 100% factory tested and calibrated
• Not suitable for operating with pressure present at the output
• Soft seal
• Repair kit available
