How does the Pressure Limiter work?

The 𝗟𝗣 is a device intended to protect pressure gauges, pressure switches, pressure transmitters and other critical and expensive instruments against accidental overpressures that could damage them.

When, for any reason, the line pressure exceeds the value set point on the limiter (which must be less than or equal to the maximum allowed by the instrument), it automatically isolates it from the circuit, protecting it. When the pressure drops to normal values, it automatically rehabilitates itself, returning the instrument to normal operation.

This accessory is the ideal solution for those looking to monitor and protect their instruments in environments with pressure fluctuations. Its compatibility with a wide range of instruments and easy installation make it a convenient and effective option.

Upon request, it is delivered calibrated to the required set point and with its identification.

Other features:
• 6 models with 6 different ranges, from 14.5 to 2,320 psi.
• Safe overpressure up to 6,000 psi (s/model).
• They are made of stainless steel, with Fluoroelastomer seals.

Warning: For fault-free operation, the fluid must be “clean”, free of suspended particles and non-viscous. It is recommended to incorporate a filter at the inlet to prevent particles from entering the system.
