Sustainable Development

In a process that began years ago, ABAC continues to promote sustainability initiatives in different productive and administrative areas of the organization. As an objective, we seek activities and projects that promote sustainable development and balance. A plan that increasingly involves more areas and collaborators.

Stainless Steel
Our products are made mostly of Stainless Steel. It is considered a 100% recyclable material, since it can be reprocessed as many times as required.
It is also widely used in works or constructions due to its long useful life.

Packaging
The material used to pack our products is recyclable. This is because we use cardboard and recyclable plastics. In addition, our inks do not harm the environment, since they come from natural pigments.
The Quality, Purchasing and Production departments are constantly searching for suppliers, materials and sustainable options on a daily basis.

Recycling and Reuse Policies
Our staff receive training and updates on recycling awareness issues. We know that each work space has an impact on the care of our environment, therefore, from plant personnel to administrative areas, we work on the separation of waste and minimize the use of paper and plastics, encouraging their reuse and promoting the use of digital documents.

Efficient Equipment
In order to reduce CO2 emissions, we have installed refrigeration equipment with inverter technology in our offices, which present savings in electricity consumption of up to 50% compared to conventional equipment.
In the same sense, we have installed LED luminaires, which replace compact fluorescent lamps, which consume up to 70% more energy and contain mercury inside, which seriously contaminates our environment in the event of breakage.
